Competition Rules

1 Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
• Employees, contractors and immediate family/household members of BMC BONUSBALL are not eligible.
• We may request acceptable ID and proof of address before confirming a prize.

2 How to Enter

1. Select a live competition on our website.
2. Purchase an entry (paid entry only; see Section 3).
3. Answer the displayed skill-based question. Only correct answers qualify for winner selection.
4. Submit your entry before the competition’s closing date/time.

Entries with an incorrect or blank answer are invalid and will not be included in winner selection.

3 Paid Entry Only

Our competitions are paid entry only. There is no free entry route. Entry prices and any multi-buy discounts will be clearly displayed on each competition page at the time of purchase.

• Payment methods accepted are those shown at checkout. Third-party payment providers may have their own terms.
• Entries are only valid after full, cleared payment and submission of a correct answer.
• We reserve the right to limit the number of entries per person per competition. Any limit will be shown on the competition page.

4 Closing Dates & Changes

Each competition shows an open date, closing date/time, prize details and any entry limits. We may bring forward, extend, or cancel a competition if necessary (e.g., insufficient valid entries or events beyond our control). Any change will be communicated on the competition page before winner selection.

5 Winner Selection

• Only valid entries (paid + correct answer) are included.
• Unless otherwise stated on the competition page, winners are selected at random from all valid entries using a verifiable method.
• If a competition uses a nearest-to-answer mechanic, the entry closest to the correct answer wins. If two or more entries are equidistant, a random draw is conducted between them.
• We may livestream or publish the draw method/reference for transparency. We also keep an auditable record of the draw.

6 Notification & Verification

• Winners are contacted using the details provided at entry (e.g., email, telephone, or Instagram DM).
• A winner must respond and complete verification within 14 days (or the timeframe stated on the competition page). Failure to do so may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.
• Verification may include proof of age, identity and address.

7 Prizes

• Prize details are shown on each competition page. Unless explicitly stated, no cash alternative is offered.
• We aim to deliver prizes within a reasonable time after verification. Delivery or collection arrangements will be agreed directly with the winner.
• Prizes are non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing.

8) Refunds & Cancellations

• Entries are final once submitted. We do not generally offer refunds unless we cancel a competition or are required to do so by law.
• If a competition is cancelled, we will refund entry fees to the original payment method where possible.

9 Fair Play & Disqualification

• We may disqualify entries that are incomplete, incorrect, late, automated, bulk, abusive or otherwise breach these rules.
• Any attempt to tamper with, game, or interfere with the entry process or draw may result in disqualification and, where appropriate, legal action.

10 Publicity & Content

We may ask to announce winners’ first name, initial of surname and general location (e.g., “Alex B., Liverpool”) and to publish photos/videos and testimonials. We’ll always respect your privacy choices set out in our Privacy Policy.

11 Liability

We are not responsible for entries not received due to technical faults, network issues or user error. Nothing in these rules limits liability for fraud or for death/personal injury resulting from our negligence.

12 Your Data

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including for winner selection, verification and prize delivery.

14) Law & Changes

These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We may update these rules when necessary; if we do, we’ll post the new version here with an updated date.
